The Holland Ice Park will officially open with a public grand opening on Friday, November 14 at 2:00 pm, with the first public open skate session at 6:00 pm that evening.

Tickets for public open skate sessions, including the first one on November 14 at 6:00 pm, go on sale Tuesday, October 28 at 9:00 am. All public open skate sessions require tickets to be purchased in advance online at hollandrecreation.com. Tickets will not be sold on-site.

The Holland Ice Park, located at the edge of Window on the Waterfront Park at the corner of 6th Street and Central Avenue, brings a unique outdoor skating experience to Downtown Holland. Featuring a skating ribbon, ice pond, and curling sheet, the park is designed to offer affordable winter fun for all ages, inspired by the vision of the late Frank Kraai, a beloved teacher and community member whose generous $1 million gift helped make the project possible.

Starting October 28, the public can reserve:

  • Open Skate tickets for $10 per person. Open skate tickets include 90-minutes of skate time and complimentary skate rental. Skaters may bring their own skates, but an open skate ticket is still required.
  • Curling rink reservations for up to 8 individuals at a time are also available for $75 – $125 per session, depending on the preferred date and time of the reservation. Curling sheet reservations are also 90 minutes in length and coincide with open skate sessions.
  • Open skate tickets and curling sheet reservations must be purchased separately.

All reservations must be made in advance through hollandrecreation.com. Early booking is encouraged, as the Ice Park is expected to be a popular winter attraction.

The Ice Park will operate Tuesday through Sunday throughout the winter season, from November 14 through March 15; weather permitting.
